Even investors have started talking on whether to rely on Chennai for anymore investments or developments. People who were simply signing the papers for multistoried apartments and flats, are they really thinking anything with futuristic ideas. Even a space of 10*10 fq ft available, they would sign for construction of apartments, flats and malls; get their share of investment as bribe and continue with their strategies of improving own standards to class. Who thinks of common people from whose life others' styles are built. Now, who is come forward to take up the responsibility..?? This is obvious and brought to limelight at least through the intolerable climatic changes, still there are more states where the situation is the same but yet to come out to public to understand / get influenced. One cannot prevent natural disaster. We lack disaster management initiative. Managing disaster is a measure for checking loss of life, sufferings of people, loss of wealth. Instead of disaster management we adopt 3Rs crisis management - rescue relief and rehabilitate.Dr Biswas

In today's scenario, if a town planner thinks or plans for such abnormalities, system will not appreciate him. I think we as a citizen and our local administration is also responsible for this problem because we never think and workout for these natural calamities. On Wed, Dec 2, 2015 at 12:48 PM, Prof. Bholanath Dutta <bnath.dutta@gmail.com> wrote:--Chennai—home to offices of large IT companies like Tata Consultancy Servies, Cognizant and Infosys—is among the worst hit areas.
